Brock Heger Dominates King of the Hammers UTV Championship

Brock Heger and RZR Factory Racing have once again proven their dominance in the off-road racing world. Yesterday, in the rugged terrain of Johnson Valley, Heger clinched a commanding victory at the King of the Hammers (KOH) UTV Hammers Championship, finishing as the only driver to complete the race in under four hours. His performance was nothing short of spectacular, crossing the finish line a staggering 26 minutes ahead of his nearest competitor.

This latest win adds to Heger’s impressive streak, securing the ultimate off-road Triple Crown with victories at the 2024 Baja 1000, 2025 Dakar Rally, and now both the King of the Hammers Desert Challenge and UTV Hammers Championship.

Starting from the second line after qualifying third, Heger quickly surged into the lead. By mile 50, he had already built a nearly two-minute advantage. His strategy was clear and effective: dominate the desert section to set himself up for the challenging rock sections ahead. Despite a couple of minor hiccups in the rock section, Heger’s skill and experience shone through as he navigated the obstacles without needing to use his winch.

Throughout the 3-hour and 57-minute race, Heger’s RZR Pro R Factory vehicle showcased its strength and durability, never needing a pit stop for fuel thanks to its 130L fuel cell. “I’m stoked to come away with another win and to put Polaris back on top, especially during this UTV Hammers event,” said Heger. “This was the hardest King of the Hammers I’ve done, but it was so much fun.”

Alex Scheuerell, RZR Factory Racing Technical Director, praised Heger’s performance, stating, “Over the past few months, Brock has solidified himself as a legendary name in off-road racing. To watch him dominate at the King of the Hammers UTV Hammers Championship is truly exciting, especially for someone so young and talented.”

The RZR Factory Racing team will next compete at the Mint 400 in Las Vegas, NV, from March 5-9, 2025. For more information on the RZR Pro R Factory, which is now available for purchase, visit Polaris Off Road.
